Clatonia is a village in Gage County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 227 at the 2010 census. The village was founded in 1880 and named after the daughter of Robert W. Furnas, who served as Nebraska's second governor. Clatonia has a small downtown area with a few businesses and a community center. The village is served by Tri County Public Schools and has a volunteer fire department. Clatonia is located approximately 12 miles east of Beatrice, Nebraska and 50 miles south of Lincoln, Nebraska.
